The first one planted was from an acorn grown of the Bowthorpe oak in Lincolnshire, said to be approx 1200 years old with a girth of 13 metres. The second oak to be planted today is from an acorn that I picked and grew myself from the Major oak in Sherwood forest aka The Robin Hood oak. A particular favourite of mine. For all the
