BLM is taking action to keep public lands clean and accessible. In a recent cleanup effort, 24 abandoned vehicles and 50,000 pounds of debris were efficiently removed from the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. With rugged terrain limiting access, a helicopter provided the most effective solution to clear the site safely.
