If you see a ray, you are correct! One of the orcas’ preferred prey in Baja are rays, a high-energy target they hunt with precision and intent. In this video you see an orca swimming with its prey in its mouth. Orcas are sometimes seen carrying prey at the surface but this behaviour is not considered as a trophy showing in a human sense.
