Happy Black History Month! We have received some incredible inventions from African Americans, here are a few we would like to highlight: *Valerie Thompson - invented the illusion transmitter, which later set the stage for 3D movies *Sarah Boone - created the latest curved design we use for ironing boards. She was also one of the first black women to receive a patent in 1892! *George Grant - golf tees *J.W.Smith - lawn sprinkler *Phillip B. Downing - mailbox *Garrett August Morgan - traffic sign
