One of the most popular palm scpecies, Sabal palmetto is native to most of the Southeast coast. It is the landscaping palm of choice due to the ease of transport. This specimen is our cold hardy selection from Bald Head Island, NC that has proven to be completely hardy in zone 7b. The large costapalmate evergreen leaves are very attractive in a winter garden. After about a decade, Sabal palmetto starts forming an above ground trunk. A wonderful native palm for sun or shade garden. Zones: 7b to 1
