OUTLETS in kitchen islands are AGAINST CODE now. At least hidden access outlets are still deemed safe enough. I'm surprised outlets below 4' on a wall are allowed at all. They are so dangerous to kids and modern adults with the tripping and snagging. Falling lamp hospital visits are off the charts!
