Today reminded me how fast darkness can pull people in. I saw two guys openly using drugs right outside the treatment center. No shame. No hiding it. Just destruction happening right in the open while people inside are fighting every day to save their lives. My first instinct wasn’t anger. It was protection. Protect the clients. Protect the environment. Make sure nobody gets triggered. Make sure nobody gets pulled back into the life they’re trying to escape. And it hit me Misery really does love
