A high-speed police chase ended with officers holding three children, ages just 12, 11, and 8, at gunpoint, in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 20. Police say the juveniles stole a vehicle and fled when officers attempted a traffic stop. The chase reached up to 79 mph before the car crashed into a home. The kids ran on foot but were found moments later — an officer drawing his weapon and ordering them to lie on the ground as one child cried for his mother and another begged not to be shot.
