Jul 7, 2008 · How did that work out or is that why your back to flats sneakers? My guess is the snake boots didnt hold up to well since they werent designed for underwater use. Slim, I have thought about kevlar as well. I'm no expert but I dont think it would work, kevlar's strength is designed for fast moving relatively blunt objects.

Mar 3, 2024 · I came to a conclusion that I cannot jog on pavement anymore so I now bike and or hit a treadmill. Also, those foam rollers, and balls help to easy those pressure points that make our body ache. Invest in your feet, so buy those high end work boots/shoes and have more than one pair. I usually wear two different style work boots during the week.

So, you do not need 'wade boots' made specifically for wade fishing. Go to Walmart and buy a cheap pair of Brazos high top work boots without the metal toe plate.

I may break down and buy some new boots soon though, to get the lighter weight flats bootie for summer and then strap on my green lifetime warranty guards.

Aug 19, 2009 · The boots have always been in good shape. When at Academy try on a pair of waders similar to what you have and then try the Rayguard boots on. BE sure to get them big enough. The trick is to wear a thin sock with the waders and a thick sock without waders so that you can get the correct fit. Might need two pr of socks but..

Course there some posts years ago on how to put new reef soles on the old boots if you wade shell all the time. Yes I made a pair. and they work well. I may also have a couple old copies of Ray Crawford's old wade and kayak books that I do not use.
