Jan 4, 2025 · I must be about your age, and I cannot imagine manually inflating car tires. I wouldn’t have considered it even decades ago. Sounds really miserable. It’s not at all miserable. I imagine it’s just as fast, except if the tire is flat. If it is, then the time it takes to swap tires swamps the extra minutes to inflate the tire.

IMO the user reviews compare the new tires to the ones they just replaced, and the old tires are typically at the end of life. They are of course louder, ride poorly, and have worse wet handling than the new tires.
