Thalmus Rasulala (15 November 1939 – 9 October 1991; age 51) was the actor who portrayed Captain Donald Varley in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "Contagion". Rasulala was born Jack Crowder in Miami, Florida.

He also appeared on Perry Mason, Mannix, The Twilight Zone, All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Tales of Wells Fargo, Good Times, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and The Sophisticated Gents.

Thalmus Rasulala was born on 15 November 1935 in Miami, Florida, USA. He was an actor and assistant director, known for New Jack City (1991), Above the Law (1988) and Roots (1977). He was married to Shirlyn Mozingo and Martha Roberts. He died on 9 October 1991 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
