We work with the Johnson County Planner as our chief GIS (Geographic Information System) specialist to accurately determine and map all land parcels in the county. Maintaining Veteran’s Exemptions (tax relief) is also one of our duties.

The Clerk of District Court is responsible for accurately and effectively processing, managing, maintaining and preserving all records and cases filed within the Fourth Judicial District Court in Johnson County, dating back to 1886.

Johnson County Road and Bridge is geared up to blade the roads as moisture allows. Many roads have already received attention, and we will continue to address problem areas as they arise. You may also see our workers out doing routine maintenance on culverts, cattle guards and bridges.
