Monday’s Wild Card playoff game between the Vikings and Rams has been moved to Arizona. The NFL announced the relocation of the game on Thursday night. “The decision was made in consultation with public officials, the participating clubs and the NFLPA,” the league said in a statement. The game still begins on Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET.

In response to the wildfires that are ongoing around the Los Angeles area, Monday's playoff matchup against the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams is being moved to Arizona, the league announced in a statement on Thursday evening.

Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell was born and raised south of Los Angeles, where ongoing wildfires have killed at least five people, displaced thousands of residents and could move the location of Monday night’s Vikings-Rams playoff game.
