Jason Carter says it didn’t bother him that U.S. flags were raised for President Donald Trump‘s inauguration after they were lowered in honor of his late grandfather, former President Jimmy Carter. Trump’s move to raise the flags was unusual and went against the customs honoring recently deceased former presidents.
