Matt Cardona thanks Saudi fans for chanting his name on WWE Night of Champions post show. Cardona's name was heard on WWE TV for the second time in the past few weeks. The first time happened earlier this month when John Cena mentioned him during his pipe-bomb-style promo WWE SmackDown.

WWE Night of Champions took place Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the event saw the crowning of a new King and Queen of the Ring.

At the height of their legendary rivalry, John Cena and CM Punk represented two clashing ideologies among WWE fans. They tangle again, perhaps for the last time, at Night of Champions. Punk's legendary 2011 "pipebomb" speech rocketed Punk to the top of the card.
