The Detroit Lions' president throws shade at Green Bay and says the city won't come close to the show Detroit put on last year.

At a pre-draft event hosted by the Detroit Economic Club on Monday, Lions president and CEO Rod Wood took a shot at the division rival Green Bay Packers, which will host to the 2025 NFL Draft this week after Detroit's record-setting event last year.

Detroit hosted the draft last year before going on to win the NFC North, while the 2025 edition will be in Green Bay. Green Bay is, of course, home of the Packers, who are coming off a third-place finish in the division. The Lions also defeated the Packers in both of their head-to-head matchups last season.
