One Ocean City player won big this week in the Maryland Lottery, plus the latest on Powerball and Mega Millions.

Someone bought a Powerball ticket at a Lowcountry grocery store that was one number shy of winning the game’s grand prize, South Carolina Education Lottery officials said Tuesday in a news release.
