The Sooners beat Kentucky 5-1 in the first round of the SEC Tournament on Tuesday. Prior to Tuesday’s win in Hoover, AL, they had lost six of their last seven games. Oklahoma’s pitching set the tone for the win. Kentucky’s only run came in the top of the third inning, when Luke Lawrence scored on a Sooners’ fielding error.
