Nolan Minessale scored 17 points to lead the Saint Thomas Tommies and Drake Dobbs secured the victory with a free throw with 13 seconds remaining as the Tommies knocked off the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 73-72 on Wednesday night.

South Dakota State’s three-game win streak over St. Thomas was snapped in the defeat. The Jackrabbits are now 6-2 against the Tommies when both are at the Division I level. SDSU holds the 15-9 edge in the all-time series.
