Google has officially announced Material 3 Expressive during The Android Show: I/O Edition, bringing a bold design refresh to Android and Wear OS later this year, starting with Pixel devices. While the update had already leaked via an early blog post, it’s now confirmed and packed with visual upgrades.

Android 16 QPR1 beta is expected to feature several Material 3 Expressive changes, including the new Quick Settings panel, Clock customization, and more.
