As of Tuesday, Republicans had won 216 seats to Democrats’ 206, according to election results by the Associated Press.

Republicans have won enough seats to control the House of Representatives, completing the party’s sweep into power and securing their hold on both chambers of Congress and the White House. Republicans gained control of the Senate last week.

More than a week after Election Day, control of the House of Representatives has yet to be decided. Out of the 435 seats in Congress’s lower chamber, 12 have yet to be called.
