In addition to his Grammy wins, Carter has also received numerous other honors and awards throughout his life, including the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his work with the Carter Center, which he founded in 1982 to promote democracy, human rights, and public health around the world.

Jimmy Carter already seemed a shoo-in to win his fourth Grammy on Feb. 2. But with his death on Sunday Dec. 29, his victory seems even more certain.
