The Golden State Valkyries will be hosting the Connecticut Sun on Sunday evening. The Valkyries have won four of their last five games and are 6-6 for the season. The Sun has a 2-11 record for the season and is on a five-game losing streak.

Coming off an impressive win over Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever on Thursday, the Golden State Valkyries crushed the Connecticut Sun 87-63 in front of their seventh consecutive sellout crowd of 18,064. Golden State shot 35.9% from the field and hit nine 3-pointers in the win. The Valkyries took a 27-point lead at halftime and didn’t look back.

Kayla Thornton had 21 points and eight rebounds, Tiffany Hayes scored 14 points and the Golden State Valkyries beat the Connecticut Sun 87-63.
