The U.S. Department of Education has opened a foreign funding investigation into the University of Michigan after reports showed inaccurate and incomplete disclosures.

The DOE claims the University has failed to accurately and fully disclose the origins of funding originating from foreign institutions.

In her lawsuit, Rachel Dawson denies making antisemitic remarks and accuses the school of racial bias in its investigation and decision-making.
