Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is hopeful that his current stint on the injured list is of the short-term variety, the All-Star told reporters.

Catcher Gabriel Moreno was placed on the injured list after breaking his finger on June 14. Arizona's home run leader, Eugenio Suarez, was recently hit by a pitch, which has him sitting out of Tuesday's game against the White Sox, and now the Diamondbacks have released an update on outfielder Corbin Carroll.
