A day after New York City Comptroller and current Democratic mayoral candidate Brad Lander was arrested at federal immigration court, two members of the state's congressional delegation say they were denied access for an oversight visit Wednesday.

Brad Lander received widespread support after his arrest on Tuesday, but it’s unclear how it will affect his third-place campaign for mayor of New York City.

Reps. Dan Goldman (D-NY) and Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said Wednesday that they were denied access to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office inside a New York immigration court building, where New York City Comptroller Brad Lander was arrested the day before.
