Minnesota Lynx star and WNBA MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier has been upgraded to questionable for the team's game against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday. Collier has not played since Aug. 2 due to a sprained right ankle and had an initial recovery timeline of at least two weeks.

In the loss to the Aces, Brittney Griner was passed by A’ja Wilson for the most games in WNBA history with over 30 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks. After the announcement was made by the WNBA, the Dream star’s wife, Cherelle Griner, took to social media, sending a message to Wilson.

A’ja Wilson once again delivered in the spotlight, piling up 32 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks as the Aces slipped past Atlanta 74–72 on Tuesday night at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

For four quarters, the Dream outmuscled and outworked the Valkyries in what became a 79-63 loss for the expansion team. Golden State dropped to 18-16 with the defeat and had their four-game winning streak snapped. Atlanta scored 38 points in the paint and were out-rebounded 38-27.

In the heat of the matchup, Wilson made WNBA history not once, but twice — and both feats came against her former Team USA teammate and current Dream center, Brittney Griner, who scored 16 points off the bench.
