The Ukrainian leader said the Russian army had lost up to a battalion of North Korean infantry soldiers and Russian paratroops in recent days.

Russia has lost up to a battalion of North Korean soldiers. These figures cover only losses in the Kursk region over the past two days, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy said that he had listened to a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,

"In battles yesterday and today near just one village, Makhnovka, in Kursk region, the Russian army lost up to a battalion of North Korean infantry soldiers and Russian paratroops," Zelenskyy stated.
