SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police are investigating after a shooting Friday morning. Officers say they were called to a hospital on Aug. 15, where a man was being treated for a minor gunshot wound.

Early Friday morning, a procession was held along I-26 as SC Trooper First Class Dennis Ricks' remains were returned to the Midlands from a hospital in Charleston.
