Shane Lowry declined to speak to the media after blowing his chance to win the 2025 Truist Championship with bogeys on two of the last three holes.

In the final pairing Sunday, Shane Lowry was the no-doubt crowd favorite. Irish flags and soccer kits dotted some of the galleries. Every time he and Sepp Straka moved between holes, it was a Lowry love fest in the final round of the Truist Championship in a metro area filled with Irish-Americans.

It didn't get similar attention as Collin Morikawa's supposed blowing off of the media at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but Shane Lowry's ducking of the media following a tough finish on Sunday at the Truist Championship may have been an even worse look.
