Mohamed Sabry Soliman was charged with a hate crime in the June 1 attack. He also faces 118 state criminal counts, including attempted murder.
Soliman – who shouted “Free Palestine” after the attack – stood behind a transparent partition in court Thursday as the charges were announced.
At the hearing, Soliman appeared in an orange jumpsuit to face multiple state charges. Of the 118 charges, 62 counts were crimes against the victims.
The attempted murder charges alone could result in Soliman being sentenced to as many as 672 years if convicted.
