Max is returning to its former name — HBO Max — beginning immediately. Users of the streaming service, which is owned by CNN’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, will see the new-ish name roll out Wednesday, the company announced .

Warner Bros. Max streaming platform is now rebranded to HBO Max again. This is reflected across its website and Android and iOS applications.

The name's return was first announced during Warner Bros. Discovery's upfront presentation to advertisers in May.
