After Woad opened the tournament with rounds of 67 and 65, the LPGA and Kessler reached out to Golf Channel on Friday night. Tom Knapp, Golf Channel’s EVP/Golf, agreed to monitor the situation and made the call to put the tournament on CNBC with about an hour remaining in Saturday’s third round.
