LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Emergency crews responded to a close call Tuesday night after strong winds brought down a tree onto a home along Lawson Lane in Laurel County. First responders were called to the scene just before 10 p.m. and found that the tree had crashed through the roof of the house.
Another round of storms swept through Kentucky on Tuesday evening, resulting in a massive tree falling on top of a home in Laurel County.
The Keavy Volunteer Fire Department posted on Facebook that they were called to a home on Lawson Lane just before 10 p.m. Tuesday for a fallen tree.
The district announced on Tuesday, May 20, that administrators have decided that students will not return to classrooms.
"We're gonna keep coming back over, and over, and over to show everybody that we're going to rebuild every structure and every life," Gov. Andy Beshear said.
