White Sox pitcher Shane Smith hit Diamondbacks slugger Eugenio Suarez with a pitch. It caught Suarez on the bottom of his left hand, smashing into his ring and pinky finger, a classic finger-breaking hit by pitch. Suarez needed to be examined by the trainer but eventually stayed in the game.

It's looking more and more like the Arizona Diamondbacks are going to be sellers at the MLB Trade Deadline on July 31. Their starting third baseman, Eugenio Suarez, is one of their biggest chips they have to sell this season.

The former Mariner is reportedly being shopped by the Diamondbacks and after initially saying he didn't want to be traded, he said something different Monday.
