The Boston Red Sox could look to land a former Los Angeles Dodgers catcher who's been in MLB for over a decade.

After being "kind of pushed out" in Los Angeles, new Red Sox starter Dustin May is excited to join a pennant race — and keep starting — in Boston.

The Red Sox outfield is a fortress. With such a solid lineup of outfielders, they've had the flexibility to move Rafaela to other positions, like shortstop last season and briefly to second base before the break.

Signing 21-year-old Roman Anthony to an eight-year, $130 million contract extension on Wednesday obviously made sense. He’s a gifted player who has impressed teammates with his focus on winning instead of his own achievements. On and off the field Anthony has said and done all the right things since being called up on June 9.

Not only will Roman Anthony be a member of the Boston Red Sox through at least 2033, but he'll lead off on Wednesday night.

Righthander Dustin May, acquired from the Dodgers at the trade deadline, will make his first start for the Red Sox. He’ll oppose Kansas City’s Michael Wacha on the mound.
