Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav filed his nomination for the February 5 Assembly polls, declaring assets worth Rs 46.85 crore. He criticized AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for non-performance and misleading promises.

The former chief minister, accompanied by his wife Sunita, offered prayers at Hanuman temple and Valmiki temple in the morning before heading to the New Delhi district magistrate's office, where he will file his nomination papers.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday said that AAP is stronger than the Congress in Delhi so his party has decided to stand with AAP. Speaking to ANI, Akhilesh Yadav said, "The regional party fighting against the BJP should be supported by the leaders of the INDIA alliance.

As the election date draws closer, several prominent figures are taking center stage in this intense political contest.

Ahead of filing his nomination for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, visited the Hanuman Temple. Kejriwal's visit to the temple is seen as a gesture of seeking blessings before embarking on his electoral campaign.

The Samajwadi Party, AAP, and the Congress are part of the INDIA bloc, including other regional heavyweights like the TMC, DMK, and Shiv Sena (UBT).

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Congress and BJP of having a 'jugalbandi' or tacit alliance ahead of the upcoming Delhi elections.
