Nearly 30,000 pounds of Chomps original beef and turkey sticks recalled: What to know

Chomps has reportedly recalled approximately 29,541 pounds of beef and turkey sticks. The recall affected "specific lots of 1.15 oz Original Beef," including 8-count and 12-count packages of single sticks, and 1.15-oz Original Turkey Single Stick packaged between Jan. 6 and Jan. 23, according to the recall announcement.

Nearly 30,000 pounds of Chomps Beef Sticks recalled over potential metal in meat

Chomps' manufacturer recalled nearly 30,000 ready-to-eat beef sticks after customers reported metal in the product. Idaho Smokehouse Partners notified the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service that they received two complaints from customers reporting pieces of metal in their Chomps sticks.
