The Dodgers won the 2024 World Series in five games over the Yankees after a furious comeback in Game 5 to close things down. In the aftermath, there have been a few comments from the Yankees' side about the Dodgers being cocky and/or talking a bit of trash.

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that he didn't like hearing the criticism of his team levied by Los Angeles Dodgers players after they beat the Yankees in last year's World Series and hoped to "handle things with a little more class" if New York could win its first championship since 2009.

Aaron Boone, taking a jab at some members of the Dodgers, said the Yankees will handle things with "more class" than Los Angeles did if they win the World Series in 2025.
