NFL Draft just a few months away, our Bryce Lazenby has put together a four-found mock draft for the Detroit Lions that addresses multiple needs on defense, including at edge rusher.

Detroit spent their first two draft picks at the position, drafting Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw Jr. This year, their obvious need is an edge rusher who can line up alongside Aidan Hutchinson.

The Lions had one of the better offensive lines in the NFL last season, as evidenced by two players initially making the Pro Bowl roster and a third being added late, ironically in place of another Lion.

The Detroit Lions were predicted to draft Ohio State's Jack Sawyer in the first round of the latest mock draft. Early on in the 2025 offseason, it seems pretty obvious where the Detroit Lions need to focus on improving their roster.

We're talking about the draft later than usual, but much sooner than anyone expected this year, now that we know where the Lions will pick in Round 1.
