Snow, sleet, cold rain and more are expected to fall at points across the Metroplex into Friday morning. Here's our latest timeline. Extreme winds from the north and northeast will continue to blow into the Los Angeles region through Wednesday morning, bringing gusts of up to 80 mph.

At around noon on Friday, snow sets up out to the west and throughout the afternoon and early evening blankets all of Southeast Lower Michigan. Most areas pick up a quick 1-2” with as much as 3” in a few locations. Round 2 arrives Sunday into Monday.

Bitterly cold temperatures continue with highs only in the 20s and lows teens. Some light lake effect snow showers are possible today with better chance Friday.
