A young boy currently battling a rare form of cancer got the surprise of a lifetime from a famous actor. “Deadpool and Wolverine” star Ryan Reynolds visited Mass General Hospital for Children on Friday to surprise 8-year-old Nash.

Ryan Reynolds visited a young cancer patient at a Boston hospital, bringing joy and connecting the child with Hugh Jackman via FaceTime.

An 8-year-old boy battling cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital got a visit from one of his favorite superheroes last week, and spoke over FaceTime with another. In the video, Reynolds enters the room with a bag of gifts and introduces himself as Nash’s jaw drops in amazement. The young fan is rendered temporarily speechless.

Reynolds, the son of a Royal Canadian mounted policeman who grew up in British Columbia, posted about his trip on social media with a shout-out to the doctors and nurses at Mass General for Children. "Wish every kid needing treatment got it here," he wrote. "And I wish every parent with a sick kid could put their kid in hands this capable."

Reynolds made a special visit to Mass General Hospital for Children in Boston to visit with Nash, 8, and even FaceTimed his “Deadpool and Wolverine” co-star Hugh Jackman.

Reynolds said he wanted to meet him and sign the mask in person. They kept the meeting a secret from Nash, Poirier tweeted.
