President Donald Trump has been briefed on a downed F-15E fighter jet in Iran.

Two American aircrew are on the run in Iran with a bounty on offer for their capture after their warplane was shot down to mark a major escalation in the war.

Israel and several Persian Gulf nations reported a new influx of drone and missile launches toward them early Thursday morning, hours after President Trump asserted in a national television address that the U.S. military campaign against Iran was an overwhelming success and “near completion.”

Iranian drones struck Kuwait’s Mina al-Ahmadi oil refinery Friday, sparking fires at the facility.

On Tuesday Trump said Iranian leaders were “focused on stealing their people’s wealth to fund terror and bloodshed abroad”.
