Avengers: Doomsday's 5-hour live stream was secretly far more eventful than the equivalent video Marvel released for Avengers: Infinity War.

Not all of the Avengers in Doomsday were revealed in the cast announcement. Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) will be working with Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Wong (Benedict Wong) to bring back Monica. Similarly, Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) will be trying to find young heroes while also trying to use her bangle to bring Monica back home.

Fans noticed that the newest trailer for Marvel's Thunderbolts* removes Taskmaster from a scene, leading to speculation the character dies.

Other characters with significant roles in the MCU who were surprisingly missing from the list include Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange, Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel, Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch.

The cast for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday could be revealed, as Marvel is teasing an announcement with Thor star Chris Hemsworth and Captain America star Anthony Mackie.
