The Seattle Seahawks released veteran wide receiver Tyler Lockett, and he might be exactly what the New England Patriots are looking for.
A new rumor has revealed what it would take teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and New England Patriots to complete a blockbuster DK Metcalf trade this offseason. With the Super Bowl now in the distance,

Even though Metcalf has reportedly requested a trade, it takes two to make a deal. And according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Seahawks are looking for a first- and third-round pick in a potential Metcalf trade. In addition, Metcalf is looking for a salary of $30 million per season in his next contract, per Russini.
With Tee Higgins getting franchise tagged by the Cincinnati Bengals again, that leaves Chris Godwin as arguably the top option at wide receiver in free agency. This isn't the first time the Patriots have been linked to Godwin, but reports indicate that they will be going all-in on him now that Higgins is no longer available.
The DK Metcalf sweepstakes is officially underway. Shortly after the Seattle Seahawks and Tyler Lockett announced that they were parting ways, reports surfaced that Metcalf requested a trade to play for a contender.
