An American Airlines worker was killed in a single vehicle accident at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina on Monday, officials said.

Officials have transitioned to a "recovery effort" to find the bodies of the 67 people believed to have died in the crash near Reagan Airport near DC.

The unidentified employee was working on the aircraft’s ramp when they were struck by a ramp vehicle around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
