BROOKLYN – Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is ruled out of Wednesday’s game against Brooklyn at Barclays Center with a left ankle sprain after playing Monday at Cleveland following a two-game absence with the injury. “There’s soreness,” Suns coach Mike Budenholzer said before Wednesday’s game. “He's unable to go."

The Phoenix Suns (21-21) play at the Brooklyn Nets (14-30) on Wednesday, airing in the Valley on Arizona's Family (Ch. 3) at 5:30 p.m. This is the final of the Suns' five-game road trip, and second of their home and away series against the Nets.

There is no truth to the report that Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal would be open to waiving his no-trade clause to join the Los Angeles Lakers, his agent, Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports and Entertainment made it clear.

The Suns acquired Beal from the Wizards in the summer of 2023 in a deal that sent Chris Paul to the Wizards. The three-time All-Star left Washington second on the franchise’s all-time scoring list with 15,391 points in 11 seasons, just 160 points behind Elvin Hayes.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns (22-21) closed out the extensive road trip on a high note in defeating the Brooklyn Nets (14-30) by a score of 108-84 at Barclays Center on Wednesday night. The Nets came into the game supremely short-handed, while Phoenix ruled out Bradley Beal approximately an hour before tip-off.

For the game, the Suns could be without one of their best players, as Bradley Beal is on the injury report. Beal is averaging 17.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 48.

PHOENIX -- In a season that has been riddled with inconsistencies, frustration, and a general lack of cohesiveness within the context of the Phoenix Suns roster - one thing is for sure. The Suns have to make a bold move.

Phoenix is notably coming off of an ugly loss at the hands of the NBA-best Cleveland Cavaliers, but the silver lining is that the Nets are currently boasting a 14-29 record and that the roster largely remains healthy going into the matchup.
