Wind advisory issued for East Carteret and Northern Outer Banks until Saturday morning, according to the NWS
On Friday at 3:08 p.m. the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued a wind advisory valid from 8 p.m. until Saturday 7 a.m.
Wind advisory for Eastern Sierra Slopes of Inyo County until early Saturday morning, according to the NWS
The NWS Las Vegas NV issued a wind advisory at midnight on Friday valid from 10 a.m. until Saturday 4 a.m. Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected for Eastern Sierra Slopes from 10 a.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.
Update: Wind advisory previously issued will expire at 6 p.m.
"The Wind Advisory has been allowed to expire. Wind gusts have dropped below advisory level but may remain in the 15 to 20 MPH range into the evening and overnight hours," according to the National Weather Service.
