Strictly Come Dancing's first drag queen competitor, Tayce, and professional dance partner Kai Widdrington have been crowned the winners of this year's Christmas special. Judge Craig Revel Horwood praised their cha-cha to 100 Degrees by Kylie and Dannii Minogue, saying it was "absolutely fierce, serving realness, serving fab-u-lous".

Tayce Szura-Radix has made history, becoming the first drag queen to win the UK version of Strictly Come Dancing . Szura-Radix, best known for appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2021, triumphed in the Christmas special of the dance show, winning the contest with professional partner Kai Widdrington.

Joining the Welsh queen on the Christmas line-up were TV personality Vogue Williams, soap queen Tamsin Outhwaite, racing driver Billy Monger, Olympian-turned-Gladiator Harry “Nitro” Aikines-Aryeetey and comedian Josh Widdicombe.

Tayce Szura-Radix is a 30-year-old professional drag queen and model from Wales. She first shot to prominence in 2021 as a contestant on the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK – which in itself proved to be a notable season as filming was forced into postponement due to the Covid pandemic.
