It took one half of their preseason debuts for Russell Wilson and Jaxson Dart to provide promising glimpses into the New York Giants' present and future in a 34-25 win over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Former Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is expected to start for the New York Giants, but Jaxson Dart is already dialing up the pressure.

Wilson has looked uneven through 12 training camp practice. It’s obvious (as if it wasn’t already) that he is a fading veteran. Yet at least for Saturday afternoon — when he started and played one drive in the Giants’ preseason opener at the Bills — Wilson looked steady and competent.
